Davinia Osife of Chief Dull Knife College

Davinia Osife is Northern Cheyenne and Gila River Pima and a student at Chief Dull Knife College pursuing an Associate of Science degree. Davinia has finished her first year with a 4.0 GPA after returning to school and staying focused. She completed her CNA training, which has helped her gain valuable experience in the medical field. Davinia’s time on campus connecting with her peers and instructors has been motivating her to stay focused.

When asked why education is important, Davinia says, “I do not come from much; much like other little kids living on the reservation, my parents were lost in their addiction. I was raised by my grandfather, who showed me the value of hard work. Education is essential to me because it is my ticket to success.”

After graduation, Davinia plans to attend school to become a dental hygienist. She wants to excel at her job and travel the world.
