I am from the empty canyon walls underneath and hidden
I am from the place where white corn breathes prayer into the
morning dawn

I am from the place where yellow corn cascades pollen into the
evening twilight
I am from the sacred stories of our creation.

I am strips of three-leaf sumac carefully laced and woven
I am embedded into the white abalone clouds, dancing across a
turquoise sky

I am the earth and sky placed together with Sá’ah Naaghai Bik’é
     Hozhóon— beauty and harmony
I am the being of her creation.
