Alexis Fox-Kimewon of Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College

Alexis Fox-Kimewon is a member of the Wiikwemkoong First Nations. She is currently pursuing a degree in liberal arts at Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College. Passionate about helping others, Alexis works as a CNA at Andahwod, the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s senior living center. Known for her reliability and strong work ethic, she is a dedicated student with clear goals.

Following her graduation in May 2026, Alexis plans to transfer to Lansing Community College to complete a medical assistant apprenticeship through the University of Michigan’s Lansing Medical Center. From the beginning of her college journey, she has sought to deepen her understanding of cultural values while serving her community through healthcare.

Her consistent, thoughtful decisions have kept her on track toward both academic and professional success. Alexis’s determination, combined with her compassion, makes her a standout student with a promising future in the medical field.
